I’ve bought this four times now and I’ve loved every one. I always come back for the Whisky Galore because it’s my absolutely favourite. They had some issues with a change in waxes which resulted in some uneven melting and some bubbles forming (which created craters when cooled), but have since reverted back to the original wax. The wick has a pleasant and subtle crackling noise too which I adore.
This particular candle lasts me about ten days – two weeks if I burn it for two hours a day, every day. It’s strong in that it can permeate quite a distance (I use it in my open plan living room), but the smell isn’t overwhelming at all. I wish with all my heart that I could hop over to their shop to stock up regularly, but I’m afraid I have to keep it to my bi-annual packages.
